The quickest way to laugh…

As a kid you could always find at least one Calvin and Hobbes book by my bed. The idea back then…if the last thoughts that went through my head were happy and funny thoughts – bad dreams would stay away. As an adult, the same idea still applies (Calvin and Hobbes sits comfortably on my nightstand). Except now, instead of worrying about bad dreams, my only goal is to surround myself with a few things that can guarantee a smile (in a world where there are a lot of things that make you frown).

Bill Watterson was a genius…as a kid i thought i understood Calvin. As an adult, I see now how back then, i only saw the tip of the iceberg.
