Robert Brown

I LOVE it when a home sits near a large a body of water. Seamless integration with the greatest asset that this parcel of land has to offer; it’s view. The architect Robert Brown created a home that essentially makes it impossible for you to lose perspective. When asked about this house Robert Brown said, “I like architecture that celebrates nature’s extraordinary fecundity and inventiveness, which reminds us that humankind is a part of nature and not separate.”

  1. This…is…awesome! One would be a super person to live in this space. I like the word use “fecundity.” This is very prolific.

  2. Yo this is awesome man. You need to check out “Fallingwater” by Frank Lloyd Wright. I went to visit the home and it was amazing. Similar concept. Home over a river, bringing nature and you together as one. I wonder if Brown got any of his inspirations from Wright.

    good post.
